We create a set of trays and send them home with the patient, along with a bleaching gel. Each day, the tray is filled with gel and worn for 30 to 45 minutes. The gel is evenly spread over the teeth to break up teeth stains, offering a smile brightened by several shades in one to two weeks. Treatment is also designed to limit tooth sensitivity.
3. Porcelain Veneers: Occasionally, you may develop stains that form beneath the enamel. Known as intrinsic stains, these are difficult to remove. By placing veneers, thin shells of porcelain that cover the front and sides of the teeth, we completely transform a tooth’s appearance in just two visits. 4. Dental Bonding: For a more cost-effective alternative to veneers, we may suggest dental bonding. With bonding, we mask dental discoloration in one visit.
